Artist, Filmmaker, Born in 1984, Saitama, Japan.
He has stayed in many countries throughout Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, creating work based on themes such as rumors and forgotten symbols that cut deep into political issues. His recent films are a series of works blending together sci-fi, humor, and documentary/fiction with societal systems and negative history.
He has participated in the formation of a genre-crossing network, working with “Ongoing Collective,” an art group which operates in Tokyo, and “The National Museum of Art, Okutama.”
In 2017-2018, he was granted a one year fellowship to research and create in Thailand by the Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists program sponsored by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of the Japanese Government, which sends artists of proven talent abroad. In 2019-2020, he was granted a one year fellowship to research and create in Indonesia by the POLA Art Foundation.
His works have been participated in several film festival and exhibitions across the world.
