BORDER
本作は、北朝鮮とパプアニューギニアの国境をテーマにした体験型インスタレーション。会場には蛍光灯で仕切られた「架空の国境」が設けられ、事前に配布されたE-VISAの有無によって体験が変わる。Level.1は全員に開かれ、安全な作品が展示されるが、E-VISA所有者のみが無国家地帯を越え、刺激的で危険性を孕んだ作品が待つLevel.2へ進める。国境の概念を問い直し、国家・領土・個人の存在を再考させる試みとして、現代の国際問題とも交差する。

This immersive installation explores the realities of borders in North Korea and Papua New Guinea. The exhibition space features a “fictional border” marked by fluorescent lights, where visitors’ experiences differ based on whether they have obtained a pre-issued E-VISA. Level 1 is open to all, showcasing safe artworks, while only E-VISA holders can cross the stateless zone to reach Level 2, where more provocative and unsettling works await. By questioning the nature of borders, the installation invites a reevaluation of nationhood, territory, and individual identity, while also engaging with contemporary geopolitical issues.
